Our Process

TechLeap India is a strategic grantmaker that identifies high-impact partners and funds proven, community-driven solutions in collaboration with on-the-ground organizations. While we primarily source grantees through our own review processes, we do accept unsolicited proposals.

Our grantmaking prioritizes programs that measurably improve education and long-term post-graduation opportunity for underprivileged children across India. If your organization’s mission aligns with our focus areas, we invite you to submit an expression of interest below.

Our Funding Criteria

We have stringent requirements for our grantee partners, some of which include:
Verification of the organization's registration status under India’s Foreign Contribution Regulation Act (FCRA).
Confirmation of the organization's registration as a nonprofit, not-for-profit, or equivalent charitable entity in India.
Evaluation of the organization’s mission progress, financial history, and financial forecasting to ensure scalability and sustainability.
Validation of the organization’s operational bank account in compliance with FCRA guidelines.
Assessment and validation of the organization’s anti-corruption policies to ensure transparency and accountability.
Confirmation that the organization has been operational for a minimum duration of one year.
