Our current project focuses on supporting the Neo Rajkot Foundation in establishing six new technology labs across local public schools in Gujarat, India. We are committed to raising funds for the full setup, including MindSpark installation and ongoing maintenance. This initiative will bring vital resources to underprivileged students in Rajkot’s municipal schools, helping them bridge critical learning gaps through personalized educational software.
Equipped with laptops, headphones, and guided by dedicated CoE teachers, students participate in structured, two-hour weekly sessions designed to advance their academic progress. The MindSpark program meets each student at their current level, fostering a tailored learning experience that enables them to build foundational skills. By expanding access to MindSpark, Neo Rajkot Foundation provides students with the tools and support they need for meaningful academic growth.
To bring this vision to life, the project depends on funding to expand MindSpark’s reach, maintain critical tech resources, and cover operational expenses. With support from the Rotary Club and local schools, the Neo Rajkot Foundation is transforming educational opportunities for over 7,000 students per school. Our goal is to raise $60,000 to extend MindSpark to six more schools—a powerful investment that will empower more than 42,000 children across Gujarat.

Founded in 2016 by local community members, the Neo Rajkot Foundation was established to enhance educational outcomes after a study revealed that 44% of seventh-grade students were reading at or below a third-grade level. In collaboration with the Government of Gujarat and its public school system, they implemented an e-learning system called MindSpark, which has been shown to be approximately 40% more effective than traditional classroom teaching, according to internal assessments.
Due to financial constraints, the NGO’s growth has been limited; they are currently operating in 18 schools and seek support to expand into an additional six. At present, each student receives 2-4 hours of MindSpark usage per week, focusing on Math and English. Our goal is to establish higher-capacity labs that provide students with increased learning hours and expand MindSpark to cover additional subjects.
The MindSpark learning system has proven to be about 40% more effective than traditional classroom methods, enabling students to advance an average of 1.4 grade levels per year. As a result of these improvements, a school supported by the NGO has qualified over 55 students for scholarships, achieving one of the highest rates in the state.
Our support can help Neo Rajkot Foundation by:
• Funding the construction or renovation of classrooms to create computer labs that serve a significant number of students at a time
• Providing computers, WiFi routers, and essential technology for the labs
• Funding MindSpark licenses for continued access to the e-learning platform
• Sponsoring the salary of educators to facilitate learning in these labs
• Covering miscellaneous expenses associated with establishing a lab
Despite facing the challenges of poverty, young siblings Payal and Govin have excelled, progressing from basic levels to mastering complex subjects within just one year. Thanks to access to MindSpark, provided by the Neo Rajkot Foundation, they’ve gained not only academic skills but also a renewed sense of hope and possibility. Their journey demonstrates that even in the toughest circumstances, true transformation is possible. We need your support to bring this same impact to many more children across India.
